GGRMS+ April 11, 2026 with Hayley & Jason from Lektor Decoder

As a life long fan of R.E.M. I’ve often wondered about other people’s connection to the band. Is it as intense as my own? Do their brains also hold more information about the four boys from Athens GA tand their music than anything else? I’m especially curious about those fans that might have missed them while they were still active, in magazines on TV and touring.

Around the 35th Anniversary of R.E.M.’s album Out Of Time, I reached out to Haley Bleho & Jason Juniper from CJLO’s Lector Decoder (Mondays at 9:00PM ONLY ON CJLO! , who are known to open every episode of their show with an R.E.M. track. Clearly these were my people. This set the course for a loose conversation about R.E.M. , the album Out Of Time, and where it stands. No pun intended.
